Sufentanil 50 mcg/ml Solution for injection 

COMPOSITION

1 ml solution for injection contains 50 micrograms sufentanil (equivalent to 75 micrograms sufentanil citrate).

Excipients: Sodium  chloride,  citric acid, water for injections

INDICATIONS

Intravenous administration of sufentanil is indicated  for use in anaesthe- sia during all surgical  procedures in patients  with endotracheal intubation receiving  mechanical ventilation:

• As an analgesic component during induction  and maintenance of ba- lanced
• As an anaesthetic agent for induction and maintenance of Using  epidural  administration sufentanil is indicated  as a supplementary analgesic agent to epidural  bupivacaine:
• For postoperative treatment of pain following general,  thoracic  and or- thopaedic surgery  and caesarean section.
• For treatment of pain during labour and vaginal delivery.

PRESENTATION

Ampoule  (colourless glass, type I).
